Colossians 3:13
“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”
I think I speak for us all when I say we are beyond thankful that God forgave us of our sins when we called upon Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior! We are so quick to speak about God’s forgiveness for us, but we struggle with forgiving those who have wronged us. Colossians 3 tells us to forgive anyone whom we have a grievance with, just as Christ forgave us. Jesus tells Peter in Matthew 18:22 when asked how many times we should forgive, Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”
1.Pray for your heart to be open to forgiveness of someone who has wronged you.
2.Pray for the courage to ask forgiveness to someone you have wronged.
