Ages: K4 - 6th (Basketball - co-ed all ages) (Cheer - girls all ages)
 
This basketball league is for K4-6th grade and is co-ed, and for girl cheerleaders K4-6th grade. There are 9 weeks of practice and 7 weeks of games. We are looking forward to seeing you this season!

What is Upward?

Emmanuel partners with Upward Sports to provide an opportunity for kids to be a part of a Basketball and Cheerleading program. The purpose of these programs is to help kids and families know and understand the love Jesus has for them. They also create a fun area for kids to learn the fundamentals of basketball and cheerleading, participate in friendly competitions, and hear the Gospel.

Key Details

  • Basketball is a co-ed program. Cheer is girls only.
  • Practices begin the 2nd week of January.
  • Games begin on January 24th.
  • Register before 10/31 for a $15 discount per participant.
  • After registering online, come to an open evaluation night.
  • Practices take place Monday, Thursday or Friday evenings. You can exclude one practice night when you register, or you can select that you’re flexible and can do any night.
  • VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED TO COACH AND/OR REFEREE
