If you have ever run in a race, you understand the challenges that you are going to face. You cannot push too hard “out of the gate” because you likely won’t be able to sustain such an aggressive pace. If you’re a

cross-country runner, you recognize the challenge of running alongside other competitors who might look to give you a nudge “pushing you off course” when no one is looking. You also have to battle the terrain.

Once again, Paul used the illustration of running in a race to get an important point across to his listeners.
