The Women's Ministry at Emmanuel offers opportunities for women of all ages to flourish in deep community as we CONNECT and GROW in the grace and knowledge of the Lord, and then think through practical applications to everyday life through weekly Bible studies and fellowship events. This ministry is filled with some amazing women of God with servants' hearts who treasure and LIVE out God’s word. What better way to know what God is doing in this ministry then to hear it from them:
“Lookout because God is moving in this ministry! These women will welcome you with open arms and loving hearts. They walk through storms together and celebrate blessings together. They share many things in common, but most importantly they share their love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and they live to glorify Him. One of the leaders will often say that her ‘cup is so full’ after we gather, and this sums up the feeling when these women gather and fellowship together.” ~Joey M., Flint Campus
“God is connecting us as women of the church at Emmanuel. New and meaningful friendships are forming through gathering to share, seek, pray and study His word. We are participating in community service, lifting each other up, eating meals together, laughing and even crying as we continue to walk connected for His purpose as sisters in Christ.”

“From my perspective, the women’s ministry is a powerful time where it is bringing us closer together, but also closer to God. I got to witness many guards coming down and women opening up and asking for prayer and being vulnerable. Many tears of healing were shed, and many laughs of connection had. God was in the room every time. Women praying over one another and with one another. Absolutely fabulous ministry.” ~Kristy G., Flint Campus
“Titus 2:11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people." So happy for the teaching of God’s word that’s been made available on Wednesday evenings through the women’s ministry. Only eternity will reveal what changes were made in hearts.” ~Evelyn C., Flint Campus
“The women’s ministry at the Grand Blanc campus has provided a remarkable opportunity for women of all ages to unite in service and deepen their spiritual growth through diverse Bible studies and events. This fall, we eagerly anticipate the expansion of our mid-week program and the spiritual development it will bring.” ~Sarah R., Grand Blanc Campus
“It’s amazing to watch women young and old and in between learn about their amazing God and his overwhelming love for them through studying scripture together. God is creating a safe space for women to share their wisdom, vulnerabilities and joy. BEAUTIFUL, Christ-filled bonds and friendships have been created that extend beyond Wednesday nights. God has used these gatherings to transform and heal hearts. I am so very thankful and so very blessed to be a part of it.” ~Angela B., Flint Campus
“God is on the move in women’s ministry. From women just being there for each other, women getting to know one another, and women being saved. So thankful to be a part of a church that cares about the salvation of its women.” ~Amanda M., Flint Campus
My prayer and desire are that this ministry would flow from our relationship with Christ, and that we would recognize that it is Jesus Christ who supplies our needs and equips us. This is HIS ministry and it’s in HIS power! May we always stay connected to the vine and continually prioritize the salvation, baptism, discipleship, and care of all women.
Let us rejoice in what God has done, what he is doing, and what he will do. All glory to God!!
