1 Corinthians 15:53-57
Our victory is in Jesus! I love these verses talking about O death where is your victory? Jesus has conquered all powers over sin and death. Our victory is not in the law. It is not what we do or what we try to accomplish on this earth that saves us. Many people live a life trying to get the most they can out of life. They live a life that is pleasing to them, working towards temporary goals, achieving things so they can live a good, comfortable life, where they can leave generational wealth to those who will come after them. They work as hard as they can to achieve what they believe will make them happy. At the end of our life, all people will suffer the same fate. All people are going to die one day! Our lives are fleeting; the things of this earth are fleeting. But as believers, our victory is not in what we achieve while here on this earth. Our victory is not in what we try to achieve during our short time on this earth. Our victory is in Jesus. He is eternal! He is the one who has conquered death! It is not for us to even try and do. Our position in this life is to serve Him! We are all creatures made to worship. We all worship something or someone. Christ wants our focus to be on Him! He wants us to wake up every morning and give Him the glory! He is the one in whom we have victory! Praise God in what He has done for us on the cross!
