Psalm 105
Consider what the Lord has done for you! This is what the Psalmist is doing here! He is calling the Israelites to remember the great acts of the Lord, considering the 10 plagues and His rescuing of them out of the hands of the Egyptians. He is remembering what God did for Joseph. He reminds them of the promises given to Abraham. God comes through time and time again for his people. We see this to be true all throughout Scripture in the Old Testament. We see it in the New Testament by God sending His Son to die on the cross for our sins and giving us the forgiveness of sins and restoring that relationship with Him! What has God done for you in your own life? Sometimes it can be easy to reflect on and see only the bad things that are happening around us or even to us. We see the people around us as out to get us, or just acting selfishly, not caring about us. But God does care about us! He has proven it time and time again even in our own lives! We are children of God who Jesus cares deeply about and wants to see grow. Take time to reflect! Take time to remember when... Take time to think about your story and your testimony of how you came to know Christ as your personal savior. Share your story with someone!
