Read Acts 9:1-2
There was great antagonism against “the Way” (Christianity) led by a young Pharisee named Saul. He had been named after the first king of Israel. He had been trained under the famous Rabbi Gamaliel. His chief goal in life was to “snuff out” Christianity, as he saw it as a threat to the laws and traditions of Judaism (Legalism vs. Grace).
What is your greatest temptation that drifts you away from God?
What thing did you think in the past would bring you joy, only to realize that it did not?
Do you struggle with CONTROL, SIGNIFICANCE, or COMFORT?
