Mark 11:20-26
Let’s move mountains! Prayer is truly an amazing thing. The ability to talk to the God who created all things, who saved us from sin, who is eternal and has been around from the beginning, has given us the ability to speak to him directly. He has also told us that we can have faith in Him and He will answer our prayers. We simply are to believe in Him and make sure that we are faithful in forgiving those around us. Heidi and talked about this passage and go back to our move to Michigan. This took lots of prayer in considering the move. We had to consider the move itself, pray about where we are moving to. Even when it comes to the condo we got. I will never forget, we were not the original choice for the landlords of the condo. They had other people they had promised to. Now, God could have let us find another place, but I remember praying and asking the Lord to help us get this condo, even after being told that they had told me someone else had first choice. Not even a full day later, the landlord got a hold of me and told me she had changed her mind. The Lord answered our prayer about the condo and so much more when it comes to the move. It is also a time where Heidi and I both had to grow in forgiveness and cover things with grace and love towards one another. Prayer and forgiveness are both powerful things that together can move mountains! Trust in God and trust in prayer.
